In 2020 many mothers and sons experienced not sharing Mother’s Day together because of a global predicament. Ferrone Clairbore Terrence Richardson and their mothers have not shared a Mother’s Day with each other since 1998. Ferrone and Terrence are both serving life sentences for crimes they did not commit. As we champion their exoneration, we also pause to acknowledge and make space to support the mothers gravely impacted by their unjust imprisonment. This is the 23rd Mother’s Days that injustice has stolen. The fight to prevent a 24th Mother’s Day is ongoing.

Join us for brunch on May 8th as we bring a community of support to Brenda Allen and Annie Westbrook, the mothers of Ferrone and Terrence, and add resources to our shared request for their sons’ freedom.
